Our Road Warrior STROKER 4.6 to 5.0 Liter Short Blocks are the perfect choice for your street or racing vehicle for up to 1200+ horsepower reliability. With the increased stroke of 3.750" inches the displacement increases to 5.0 liters! These Short Blocks come complete with a Ford OEM Fully Machined 4.6 Romeo engine block, our ModMax Forged Stroker (3.750") 8 bolt crankshafts (check your flywheel for fitment), ModMax Forged 4340 H-Beam Connecting Rods (check the dropdown box for optional connecting rod choices), Forged Pistons and Pins (check the dropdown box for piston choices), piston pins, ModMax Plasma Moly File Fit Rings, and King High Performance Rod and Main Bearings. These short blocks are rated up to 1200hp with the H-Beam rods but with the upgraded Billet I-Beam rods (up to 1500HP) and Stainless Steel Rings these blocks can take a lot more. (See the optional rod choices and ring upgrades to get the components necessary for your application.) In addition we can build these with a variety of piston dish volumes for the compression ratio of your choice. (Please use the compression ratio chart below to see which pistons to choose for your compression decision and then pick the proper pistons in the dropdown box).
Each shortblock is hand assembled and machined as ordered to insure quality. The blocks are precision honed for proper piston to wall clearance, checked and cleaned before assembly. The rotating assemblies are completely internally balanced to racing specifications and then meticulously assembled into the block. Bearing clearances are checked and set for performance use and the rings are perfectly filed to fit for optimum seal. If you choose the main stud option we also install the main studs and line hone for a perfect crank bore as studs change the roundness of the main saddles.

If you are using 3 valve heads you must upgrade to the specific 3V pistons in the dropdown box!

SPECIAL NOTES FOR 3 VALVE ENGINES WITH THIS SHORTBLOCK:

IF YOU WILL BE USING 3V CYLINDER HEADS YOU MUST CHOOSE 3V SPECIFIC PISTONS FROM THE DROPDOWN BOX OR SEVERE DAMAGE WILL OCCUR!!

3V ENGINES USE SPECIFIC MOTOR MOUNTS THAT DO NOT BOLT UP DIRECTLY TO THIS BLOCK. YOU WILL NEED TO GET MOTOR MOUNT ADAPTORS TO USE OLD STYLE 2V-4V BLOCKS WITH LATE MODEL 3V MOTOR MOUNTS.

THERE MAY BE SOME FITMENT ISSUES ON TIMING COVER AND OTHER ACCESSORIES THAT MAY REQUIRE SOME CUSTOM LABOR TO WORK CORRECTLY - BUYER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR FITMENT.
