• The 4.6 4V Ford engines timing kit is designed for 98-UP OR AFTERMARKET CAMSHAFTS because the secondary camshaft gears are designed for keyways only used on the 98-up or aftermarket camshafts. If you are using 93-97 OEM camshafts please use part number 39925496
• Factory engines can use a THICK or THIN lower crank gear. This kit includes: THIN crank gear to work with the thicker machined steel reluctor wheels that are factory on all engines up to 1999.

• 96-97 Mustang Cobra 4.6 4V DOHC with 98-UP style cams
